Sarah is an independent licensed social worker who has over 20 years of post-graduate social work experience. She enjoys working with seniors (65+), adults (25-64), and young adults (18-24) who are struggling with anxiety, OCD, ADHD, depression, grief, parenting stress, and relational issues.
Sarah is an interactive therapist and offers her clients encouragement, feedback, and non-judgmental insight through conversations. She believes in a strengths-based approach and uses a variety of treatment modalities, including mindfulness, CBT, ACT, family systems, and grief therapy. She is also a strong believer in the mind-body connection, as well as positive thinking, and incorporates these into her practice.
Sarah customizes sessions to address clients’ specific barriers to help them identify a different path—she believes therapy must be individualized to be effective. When she first meets with clients, she strives to create a safe and comfortable environment in order to build a trusting therapeutic relationship through open and honest dialogue. She believes therapy is not about getting the right advice or simply solving a problem- it’s about self-exploration and relying on personal strengths to find a resolution that is long-lasting. Let’s connect and get you started on your journey towards wellness and the best version of you!
