Dr. Collier is a clinical neuropsychologist and a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry & Human Behavior at Alpert Medical School of Brown University specializing in the assessment of adults with a wide range of concerns related to brain health and cognitive functioning, including:
Differentiating normal age-related changes in memory from pathological cognitive decline (e.g., dementia)
Cognitive and behavioral changes related to degenerative conditions (e.g., Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, Lewy body disease, FTD), neurotrauma (e.g., stroke, concussion, traumatic brain injury), neurologic conditions (e.g., multiple sclerosis, epilepsy), or functional neurological disorders
Cognitive changes related to medical conditions (e.g., cardiovascular disease, chronic metabolic conditions, endocrine dysfunction, chronic pulmonary disease, sleep apnea, cancer and cancer-related treatments, post-operative cognitive decline)
Problems with attention and memory associated with psychiatric illness (e.g., mood disorders, anxiety, OCD, PTSD) or history of alcohol or substance abuse
Problems with attention, executive functioning, or memory in the context of a neurodevelopmental disorder (e.g., ADD/ADHD, ASD, intellectual disability)
