Kathryn Scrimenti, PhD
Dr. Scrimenti (she/her) uses a strengths-based, interdisciplinary, integrative therapy model. Clinical treatment begins with deep and active listening, and the accurate assessment of concerns. Evidence-based treatment modalities may include Interpersonal therapy, supportive, cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, skills-building, and psychoeducational approaches. CBT, DBT, ACT, desensitization treatment, bibliotherapy, journaling, and mindfulness practices are often incorporated. Coordination-of-care with important community supports and other health providers may be featured as well.
